Beat the Expert – Chris Tansey Week Two:
The Expert crushes Mr T and takes a big lead going into week three
The Expert flexed his muscles as he crushed Mr T by 6-3 and take an impressive overall 14-10 lead after Saturday afternoon's results. The Expert once again impressively bagged six out of seven results whilst Mr T spluttered and got just three right. "I'll have to keep on my toes - but I'm determined to keep the pressure on Mr T, who has a big mountain to climb if he's going to beat me now," said the delighted Expert.
The Expert leads Mr T by a point
The Expert showed that he has recovered from his ‘Man Flu’ to edge out Chris Tansey by a single point in a first week of battle where there were eight Senior Cup ties and one league match.
But perhaps he still has something wrong with him because he was uncharacteristically complimentary about the man he calls ‘Mr T’.
“I can see why he is the boss at Manderwood’s because he had seven out of nine predictions right. He will need to be watched carefully and my mole in the camp tells me that he is not averse to seeking a little help – and has even been considering contacting Daisy Picton for advice! But I can’t believe that even Mr T is that dopey!”
My spy in his family (He can’t do anything but I get to know about it) informed me that he swanned off to Villa Park on Saturday to watch Aston Villa on a bit of a ‘freebie’ so I think I caught him cold when he gave his predictions for next weekend. So watch this space – I think the gap will be wider than just a point after Saturday!”

Chris Tansey’s Predictions
Division One:
Hakin United 4 - Merlins Bridge 2
I think Hakin can win this one and I know The Expert is very much geared to football in Haverfordwest so I could get a flying start here!Hundleton 1 - Haverfordwest County 1
Haverfordwest County are due a bad result some time and Hundleton are always strong at home so they might snatch a point here.Johnston 2 - Narberth 1
Johnston are hard to beat at Glebelands and although Narberth played quite well at Hakin I think home advantage will be vital here.Kilgetty 0 - Tenby 5
Kilgetty will battle all the way but Tenby are a very good side – as they proved last week by beating my selection Pennar at Bush Camp.Neyland 1 - Goodwick United 0
My contacts at Neyland tell me that they are really up for this game so I’m going for a home win – but by a narrow margin.Pennar Robins 1 - Herbrandston 1
Pennar will be looking to bounce back but Modesto Galdo has already brought some talented players back into the fold at Herbie so I’ll sit on the fence with this one!Solva 3 - Clarbeston Road 1
Solva lost heavily at Haverfordwest last week and Clarbie won but I still think that Solva will win here if they play to form. The Expert’s Scorecasts
