Beat the Expert Week Three:
Manderwood Mob win to level matters
The Manderwood Mob beat The Expert 4-3 after Saturday's results, and it now stands at 15 points apiece going into the last predictions. It has set-up a fascinating last week where The Expert predicts he will win. "They might have beaten me this week, but they will bottle it next week as I predict to come out on top."
Football fixtures for 30th October 2010
The Expert still leads by a tantalising point after he and the Manderwood Bob fought out a high-scoring draw in week two of their challenge where they shared 12 points, with The Expert correctly tipping six out of seven matches, whilst the Manderwood Mob had one fewer match right but correctly chose the exact score.
“Perhaps I had it slightly wrong before we started this four-week session because I thought that Chris Tansey was the brains in Manderwood and the rest were just tea boys,” admitted The Expert.
“But they are doing quite well without him and it’s clear that Mr T is giving the young sproggs who work there too much time to work out their predictions. But I can still move up a notch yet and they are due a bad weekend, especially since Sean Hannon has been on a romantic week in Bristol and so wasn’t there to help much, Paul Chapman has been busy answering the phone and Skinny Harding only knows about Milford United!
So let’s see how this week goes – I could surprise the Mob this weekend!

Hakin United 7 - Clarbeston Road 2

Pennar Robins3 - Merlins Bridge 1
Tenby 2 - Solva 2
The Manderwood Mob Predictions
Goodwick United 3 - Johnston 1
Goodwick must be favourites but although four of us went with form we had Sean Hannon & Scott Davies sitting on the fence and going for a 2-2 draw. Paul Chapman felt that Goodwick would win 4-0!Hakin United 6 - Clarbeston Road 0
We had to be unanimous with this one, although Neyland player Sean Hannon went for 4-0 and Skinny Harding (who must be hoping to join the Vikings from Milford United!) thought they would win 8-0!Herbrandston 1 - Haverfordwest County 3
All six of us picked Haverfordwest and four of us actually agreed on this score, which makes a bit of a change!Kilgetty 1 - Hundleton 2
Another unanimous verdict but we all thought it might be closer than some folk believe. Four of us thought Hundleton would win by the odd goal and two went for a two-goal margin.Neyland 2 - Narberth 0
Four of us chose Neyland and Sean Hannon went for a 4-0 home win (but then he would, wouldn’t he!!) and only Scott Davies and Paul Chapman thought Narberth might pick up a point here.Pennar Robins 2 - Merlins Bridge 3
We thought that this could be the match of the day since both sides are playing well, and our decision shows how close we thought it might be because three chose a home win, Scott Davies went for Pennar whilst Shaun Mills and Skinny Harding went for a draw.Tenby 3 - Solva 0
Much easier on paper and five of us selected a home win – though Paul Chapman decided it would end 1-1.The Expert’s Scorecasts
