Manderwood mauled by The Expert
'The Expert' leads by two clear points after the big freeze decimated Saturday's league programme. No football fixtures next week as it is Christmas. The Manderwood gang and the 'The Expert' predicted that Goodwick would win at Monkton Swifts - but Herbrandston gained an excellent 1-1 draw at Hakin United and Clarbeston Road also drew 2-2 at Solva with neither Manderwood or 'The Expert' forcasting those strange scores. We'll be back in the New Year and Manderwood have a lot of work to do if they are going to topple 'The Expert'. Merry Christmas!
Manderwood felt the back lash from the Expert’s defeat by Matthew Price as they went down by 5-3 in the opening session of their four-week competition.
“That’s more like it,” said a determined Expert, “now we can get back to a proper job after all those postponements and ‘Pricey’s’ amazing luck against me. I thought that Chris Tansey, Shaun Mills, Paul Chapman, Dai Malloy, Justin Harding, Sean Hannon and Scott Davies would collectively be a bit stronger. If that is the best they can muster from seven of them they ought to ask Derek Roberts or even Daisy Picton to give them some advice!”
Of Manderwood’s septet, Shaun Mills and Scott Davies had the highest single forecasts, with Mr T third and with Scott Davies winning on the toss of a coin as they are also holding their own individual competition since they have no hope of beating The Expert!

We were unanimous that Haverfordwest will win although we didn’t all agree on the score. They will be too strong for Kilgetty.Merlins Bridge 4 - Neyland 1
Six of us went for the Bridge because we felt that they would be too strong, despite Neyland’s recent success. Sean hannon thought Neyland would win 3-2 – but he’s playing for them so he had to say that!Tenby 2 - Narberth 1
This is a tough one and we couldn’t decide at all – but eventually agreed to give Tenby a narrow win with home advantage.Division One:

Hakin are back in goal-scoring mode so we all thought they would beat Herbie – and some by even bigger margins!Monkton Swifts 1 - Goodwick United 2
The Swifts caused a shock last week but were we mainly in favour of Goodwick, other than two who went for the draw.Pennar Robins 3 - Prendergast Villa 0
The Villa might find Pennar in rampant mood after throwing away victory last week after being 3-1 ahead. We were all agreed on this one!Solva 3 - Clarbeston Road 1
