Athletes race home with medals!

Seven members of the Pembrokeshire Harrier Eagles Club recently travelled to Port Talbot to take part in the South West Disability Sport Wales regional indoor athletics championships at the Afan Lido sports complex and these young athletes came home with a record-breaking 30 medal haul.
 

The medal winners were . .
 
6-8 years
Cameron Saunders – 3rd chest press, 2nd discus, 3rd javelin
Dylan Sharratt – 1st chest press, 1st discus, 1st javelin, 1st shot, 1st 1 length sprint, 1st 2 length sprint

9-10 years
Adele Bevan – 2nd chest press, 2nd discus, 1st javelin, 2nd shot, 2nd 1 length sprint, 2nd 2 length sprint

13-14 years
Jamie Bevan – 3rd chest press
Mac Sharratt – 1st chest press, 2nd discus, 3rd shot, 1st 1 length sprint, 1st 2 length sprint

15 +
Andy Martin – 2nd chest press, 2nd discus, 3rd javelin
James Tyler – 1st chest press, 1st discus, 1st javelin, 3rd shot, 1st 1 length sprint, 1st 3 length sprint

James also received an award for the most talented athlete from Pembrokeshire.

Pembrokeshire Harrier Eagles is a satellite club of the Pembrokeshire Harriers. Coached by Dai Thomas, its members train every fortnight at the track in Haverfordwest from 5-6pm.
